- At least 15 members of the public uprising forces and civilians were killed in a Taliban attack in the Dawlatyar district, Ghor province, local authorities said;
- The Taliban decreased number of attacks on pro-government and NATO forces across Afghanistan in the end of Ramadan. Most likely, an intense fighting will resume in the coming days;
- Security forces prevented over 70 attacks across the country during Eid al-Fitr, the Interior Ministry said;
- At least 18 Taliban members were killed in a recent army operation in the province of Logar, according to pro-government sources.
