A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- Afghan sources claim that Pakistani forces have increased their activity along the Durand Line;
- The Taliban reportedly set up a network of checkpoints around Gardez town;
- Taliban forces detained a pro-government fighter near Qara Bagh town;
- Kabul sources claim that the intra-Afghan negotiations will be held in Doha. However, the Taliban is yet to confirm any direct neogitations with the Kabul government.
