A brief overview of the recent developmenst in Afghanistan:
- The US continued strikes in Afghanistan despite the peace deal with the Taliban. In February, US manned and unmanned aircraft dropped 360 weapons;
- The Kabul government is slowing down the release of Taliban prisoners in an attempt to pressure the movement and force it to agree on direct talks.
