A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- 32 people were killed and 81 others were wounded in an attack on the gathering of politicians in Kabul on March 6. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack;
- At least 7 civilians were killed and 17 others were wounded in a Taliban attack in the Kashk Rabat Sangi district of Herat province, authorities claimed;
- The Taliban claimed that 16 government troops were killed in an attack in the Tipa district of Kunduz province;
- According to the Taliban, at least 12 government troops were killed in attacks on 2 military posts in the provincial capital of Paktia province.
