- An IED explosion targeted a bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Kabul city on May 27. At least 10 people were wounded;
- Airstrikes killed 12 Taliban members in the Andar district, Ghazni province, local authorities claimed;
- The Taliban stormed several check points in the Chagcharan district, Ghor province. According to the Taliban media wing, at least 5 pro-government fighters were killed and 6 others were wounded as well as 4 motorcycles and several weapons were seized;
- The Taliban media wing announced that 11 civilians were killed during a raid of pro-government troops and foreign forces in the Bermal district, Paktika province.
