A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- On November 10, 37 Taliban members were killed and 20 others were wounded in clashes with the National Security and Defense Forces in Gizab and Dehrawood districts, according to the defense ministry;
- On November 10, 11 Taliban members were killed by the National Security and Defense Forces in Siagird district, according to the defense ministry;
- On November 10, 10 Taliban members were killed by the National Security and Defense Forces in Nahre Saraj district, according to the defense ministry;
- On November 10, at least two security force members were killed and two others were wounded in an MI-17 helicopter crash in Hasarak district of Nangarhar province, Taliban claimed responsibility;
- 600 Taliban fighters have returned to the battlefield since their release from prisons earlier this year, according to the Ministry of Interior;
- On November 11, two security forces were killed by a magnetic IED blast in Kabul’s PD11.
