A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- On November 16, at least two civilians were wounded by an explosion of magnetic bomb placed under an ANSF vehicle in the PD3 of Kabul city;
- On November 16, Taliban forces captured a bazaar in the Dasht-e-Archi district. Tthe Afghan MoD said commandos deployed to the area to clear it from the Taliban. Clashes are ongoing;
- On November 16, a person was killed in an IED explosion in the Yaka Bergh area of Sheberghan city;
- On November 15, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior stated that at least 134 civilians were killed and 289 others – wounded in Taliban suicide and bomb attacks in the past 25 days;
- On November 15, Iranian and Afghan deputy foreign ministers declared the goal of finalizing the comprehensive document of strategic cooperation as soon as possible.
