A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- On Novmeber 23, clashes between Taliban and security forces were reported in the Dasht-e-Qaleh area;
- On Novmeber 23, clashes between Taliban and Afghan security forces erupted in the Balkh area;
- On Novmeber 23, pro-Taliban sources claimed capturing an army pilot, Nazar Mohammad, in the Zurmat area of Paktia province;
- On Novmeber 22, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO would have to make the decision early next year on whether to stay or to leave Afghanistan;
- On Novmeber 22, Taliban ambushed and destroyed an Afghan military vehicle in Baghlan city.
