  • At least 8 civilians were killed in an IED blast in the Dand-e-Shahabuddin area, Baghlan province;

It is good to see after only 18 years the US has partial control of half of Afghanistan. It only took 20 years to win in Viet Nam and were able too exit victorious handing the country over to the Viet Cong/ Nth Vietnamese .So I guess in another couple of years the US will be able to leave Afghanistan victorious and hand it back too the Taliban who they have crushed with their military might.
