- A police officer was shot and killed in Kabul’s Qarabagh district. Six more police officers were wounded by an IED explosion;
- At least 20 students were wounded in an explosion inside Ghazni University;
- A mini-bus with government troops was targeted by an IED blast in Jalalabad. At least 10 persons were killed;
- The Taliban claimed that it had ambushed a government convoy in the Shalgar district, Ghazni province, killing at least 9 government troops;
- 15 government troops reportedly defected to the Taliban in the Baghlan-e-Markazi district, Baghlan province

and the americans believe they can wrangle a decent truce from the talibans that doesn’t let on that the talibans won 10 – nothing and not a draw the americans would like to present to the world – delusional. at a trillion bucks and nothing nothing to show for it (except homelessness and poverty and misery and an infrastructure coming to pieces back home) one would think a quick end to it would be preferred but the need to keep up appearances is just idiotic.
and while the morons dawdle the talibans are allover the place letting the world know they’ve got the morons by the short and curly and it’s nothing they, the morons, can do about it. 22000billion bucks in national debt.
I suppose this is a good day for the Taliban, but a bad day for humanity. Kick the Yanks out now.
