- The Taliban seized the Yangi Qala district of Takhar province. Pro-government sources claim that 28 Taliban members were killed in the clashes there;
- The Taliban announced that it had captured the Khawaja Ghar district in Takhar province;
- 18 pro-vovernment fighters were killed and 4 others were injured in Taliban attacks in the districts of Chahar Bolak and Sholgarah in Balkh province, the group said;
- The Taliban claims that over 90 government personnel were killed in recent clashes across Kunduz province.
