A brief overview of recent events in Afghanistan:

• The ANDSF in cooperation with the local residents have pushed back a Taliban attack in Unaba district of central Panjshir province;
• Clashes between the ANDSF and Taliban members were reported in the Imam Saheb, Kunduz province;
• ISIS terrorists claimed responsibility for assassination of an alleged local militia member in the Jalalabad city;
• 8 ANDSF members were killed in clashes with Taliban in Tagab district in Kapisa province.
