Close all roads to Artyomovsk, then wait until the last rats in the city come out from their holes, don’t go after them. Dont risk you lives. Eventuality they will surrender themselves. Like the fascists did in Mariupol.
They need to keep pressure on them though. They have Food. They have stuff to burn. If you leave then be They can hold out for weeks and months possibly. If you keep pressure on them probing and attacking isn’t small thrusts, UAF will expend resources, possibly lose positions with resources, and also suffer casualties which puts additional train on resources as wounded need more attention, assuming they don’t just leave them to die.

Reports are circulating about a Russian kid, a new recruit who saw battle for the first time several days ago. He forced 37 Ukrainian soldiers to surrender all at once.
Apparently the Russian used his AK-74 to good effect, ambushing the Ukrainian platoon on a Bakhmut street. The Ukrainians panicked and took cover in an alley. From there, the Russian continued his fire, and the Ukrainians realized they were trapped. That’s when they surrendered.
Amazing. A single Russian soldier – just an inexperienced kid – marching 37 Ukrainian prisoners out of the combat zone.
It is really hard to sell it as Ukraine’s victory , if you look at the maps and read news about Bakhmut , no matter what source. Even “studio experts” , who tell fairy tales about casualties ratio 10 to 1 in favor of Ukraine admit , this battle is first off lost. Simply lost. But it would be the Pyrrhus victory for the Russians because they lost up to 100.000 troops around Bakhmut (the highest number I heard on MSM TV by “studio experts”). And that’s why it will be the magic turning point of the war: there is almost no Russisn army after Bakhmut , so the brave Ukrainian freedom fighters with their new wunderwaffen will easy take back all lost territory + Crimea and then march straight to Moscow and defeat the big satan (and so save the whole world from the evil). ok but first Bakhmut will be lost.
