The Wagner Group has captured approximately 65 per cent of the city of Bakhmut in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk, the Institute for the Study of War (Isw) states in its daily report on the progress of the conflict. Over the past seven days, the group’s forces have gained another five per cent of the city, the US study centre points out, noting that they have probably also taken control of the Azom industrial complex in the northern part of Bakhmut.
