The problem I have is the Russian ruling class isn’t pro Russian. They destroyed the Industrial base, they destroyed the military, and they let NATO establish forward bases on the borders. They can’t even manage to conduct a proper military campaign on an aggressor which is right next door. All of Kiev’s supply lines are untouched. Nothing is done to even protect Russian territory which is bombed by Kiev daily. The map hasn’t significantly changed in months, Russian equipment keeps getting destroyed, Kiev keeps getting new equipment from the West. How do you think that situation will turn out? People should blindly support such outrageous incompetence and treachery? Real people are dying every day. The population of the Donbass has been devastated, yet the population of Kiev and Lvov remains untouched by war, the water is still hot and the internet is still online.
There’s no conceivable scenario in which Ukraine will “drive the Russians out” and proceeds to claw back all of their territory as you put it, Zelensky himself recently admitted that Russia the advantage in all of this. “We still cannot break the advantage of the Russian army in artillery and in manpower, and this is very felt in the battles, especially in the Donbass – Peski, Avdiivka, and other directions.

Do you really think the Russians aren’t losing just as many people as the Ukrainians? Most of the men in Donbass have been forcibly conscripted. They are the “Russians” that are doing most of the fighting and dying. Soon there will be no men left in Donbass, a few months ago I read on Telegram that one out of ten men in the Donbass has already been killed. Literally all the weapons the West gives to Kiev are delivered right to the front and are used to kill the people in the Donbass. Nothing is done to stop these deliveries. All the bridges are still standing, all the rail lines from the West are still operating and delivering supplies to the front every single day. What does “shock and awe” have to do with destroying the enemies supply lines? The Russians refuse to follow any basic military tactics except grind, grind, grind.
At least DPR and LPR forces have artillery support from the regular Russian army. Ukrainians are fighting with just infantry and they have way more casualties.
Don’t agree at all, I never denied for a second that Russia is taking a decent licking in this conflict, it’s just not as high as what you and the U.S. media make it out to be, if you think the media isn’t inflating and lying about the number of Russian troops being killed, you’re a lost cause, next, well over half of the weapons the U.S. sends to Ukraine doesn’t even make it the frontlines!!!! Even the U.S. media is starting to acknowledge this, there’s an article titled “Only 30 per cent Western weapons making it to Ukraine frontlines: CBS”, there’s this, there’s the fact that Zelensky admitted that they can’t break the Russian advantage, there’s the fact that Ukraine is drafting men, women and are even becoming more reliant on foreign mercenaries. It’s quite easy to prove Ukraine is losing in all of this, there’s also articles floating around talking about how the U.S. is becoming “Alarmed” at Russia and Turkeys new deal with each other, so much for isolating Russia

If Russia went for Odessa, Nikolaev and ignored the LPR these last months, your concerns would be valid but the Russian forces like focus their efforts on liberating the LPR. They redeployed a bunch of units to the Popasnaya & Severodonetsk fronts, and the main concentration of allies forces are pushing toward Kramatorsk from multiple fronts, Izyum, Lyman, Seversk, Soledar, Bakhmut, and Gorlovka. The fighting continues in the the north of the DPR, soon Donetsk will be fully liberated too. Courage Vanya.

Go look at satellite map of Mariinka. It is a tiny town, hardly anything is there, one main drag and about 7 side streets, it formerly had 10,000 residents. It is right by Donetsk and is used by Kiev as a fire base. I can’t understand how the Russians can’t capture such an object. Is the Russian army really that incapable of fulfilling any tasks, really??
The front is like a 1000 km wide, they can’t just concentrate all their efforts one a single town.
The military situation in Eastern Ukraine is that the Putin cockroaches are grabbing anybody they can find in the ISIS Caliphate of Dombass and sending them to the front lines with obsolete rifles from World War II. The whole thing is a complete embarrassment for Russia. Not that it’s holding back a terrorist human cockroach like Vladimir Putin from sending more and more of them to their deaths.

Russians are not making much headway after 6 months of inconclusive confused campaign and the world is baffled by Russian tactics and lack of clarity.
