I don’t understand why they’re attacking Siversk so directly from the beginning. That town is in a valley. Getting in there would mean being surrounded by 3 sides, all with the high ground. They should mop up the western bank of the river and encircle it from south and north before doing that. Hope they don’t mess up, now that they are advancing fast after months.
The issue will always be between… The SC Strategic Command sometimes moves troops pretty bad… then the General if they were not leading in the front many mistakes would arise; and when everything proceed great from above you go to the Tactical Commanders in the Battlefield sometimes miss it or doesnt listen and commit mistakes… Mistake is equal to Dead in the Battlefield

My thought exactly. But clearing the bank, allowing reinforcements from north would be wiser and better. They would encirlce the enemy again and force it to retreat. Plus I heard that in Siversk there are many supporter of Russia. Is that true?
A few days ago on Military Summary (on utub, rumble, t.me ) podcast the guy claims AFU may have been sending in many troops into Siversk. Not sure if true, or if they are quickly reversing this move given the RU lightning advances. Have a listen to Military Summary though if you haven’t already.
