This is all nonsense. For Russia, this is still a special military operation, not a full-blown war. This is important, even if one can debate how meaningful the wording is. Russia will not mobilise bc of domestic stability, also bc it’s trying to bring the point home, that it’s not at war in the strict sense. Next, it achieves its goals. Ukraine has a much harder time maintaining the enormous frontline of 2500 km, with some 1000 km seeing active combat. Russia has more reach too. So, destablising the country by the measures you demand, giving Western propaganda a field day when their (Russia’s not the “Wests”) strategy is actually working (remember, they want to destroy Ukraine’s capacity to wage war, not the country) is sheer folly.
