Sure, they do get shot down. The problem is they get shot down only after they kill solders and destroy millions of dollars worth naval units. With competent armies its the other way around, the drone gets shot down before it launches. At least slow drones with huge RCS like TB2.

The German chancellor Scholz will make a speach live on German national TV this Sunday in relation to this move. This is a provocation by both Germany and the EU and a response must be made in kind. Red Army Faction in Germany should make it clear to the German government. That any action on behalf of nato that threatens non nato countries is not acceptable and that both the individuals involved along with any German firms their owners and executives will be held to account.

You don’t use nuclear weapons because of provocations. Not unless you’re an unstable psychopath anyway. You use nuclear weapons if you have clear indications that your country is facing inevitable defeat and distruction. I don’t see this being the case anywhere.
