There has to be a lot of small incremental gains during military operations but in war, there are also sudden larger gains too, through strategical thinking. The study of war is a worthwhile pursuit and should sit beside history as a subject worthy of study as the two intertwine. May God inspire you in Russia to get some GREAT and brilliant strategies so that lives may be saved and destruction mitigated. When one tames animals, SO frequently, food is used. When one traps animals, nets and PITS are used. The WIVES of the men in the trenches, could they be a big influence for their surrender? Can they be reached? The NAZIS and nationalists and foreigners could be targeted but russia has made clear that the cannon fodder whould surrender. That Zakota bridge is mostly metal. in WW2 thermite incendiaries were used. Thermite is also used for welding, and is quite cheap as it is mostly iron oxide (rust) and aluminium filings. So you could get a big glider like they used in the D day landings, fill it with a truck load of thermite, land it on the bridge by remote control and ignite it – hopefully it would melt through the bridge! There could be some potential pitfalls with this plan of course, it might not work, or fall off, or get shot down before it reached the target.
The situatiin in eastern Ukraine is that the shitty Russian army is low on ammunition and high on vodka.
