A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- Ashab al-Kahf group released a short video announcing the attack on an US military vehicle on the Kuwaiti-Iraqi border at the Jarishan crossing. Iraq and Kuwait separately denied any attack;
- The US military convoy was attacked by an IED near Taji base;
- Protesters stormed and set fire to administrative building in Diwaniyah province;
- The PJAK armed group stated that 7 of its fighters were killed in recent Turkish airstrikes.
