A brief overview overview of the recent developments in Yemen:
- Iraqi resistance groups claimed to increase pressure and actions against the US interests in Iraq if no agreement is reached on the withdrawal of US troops during Mustafa al-Kadhimi’s visit to Washington;
- IED attack targeted a vehicle of a company working with the U.S.-led coalition in Uwairij, south of the Baghdad;
- Protesters set fire to the Iraqi Parliament building in Basra city, demanding the resignation of the provincial Governor after two activists were killed and others injured in three separate attacks by unknown gunmen this week;
- A motorcycle bomb exploded in the city of Nasiriyah, injuring three people;
- PMU artillery targeted ISIS gathering east of Tikrit city, allegedly killing 3 terrorists.
