A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- 2 people were injured in an IED explosion in the Al-Karamah area of Nineveh province;
- Two unguided rockets hit Baghdad’s Green Zone, where the US embassy is located;
- The political and social instability is increasing. Protests were reported in Basra, Nasiriyah, al-Huriya, Baghdad, and Baquubah.
