Military Situation In Iraq On January 28, 2019 (Map Update)

On January 25, Kurdish protestors stormed a Turkish military base near the city of Dahu;
On January 27, 2 civilians were wounded in a bomb attack in Tikrit city;
6 ISIS members were arrested in the areas of Rajm Hadid and al-Nahrawan in western Mosul on January 27;
3 ISIS members were arrested in the Buhriz district, Diyala province on January 27;
3 persons were killed and 11 others were injured in a bomb attack in the al-Shirqat district, Salahuddin province;
On January 26, the Popular Mobilization Units repelled an ISIS attempt to enter Anbar province from Syria. Several ISIS members were reportedly killed in cross-border strikes.
