A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- According to Turkish Ministry of Defense, 3 suspected PKK militants were killed in the Haftanin area;
- Turkish warplanes conducted airstrikes on the villages in Kani Masi district of Duhok province;
- According to Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, 62 PKK members have been killed so far during the “Tiger-Claw” Operation;
- During the 4th phase of Operation ”Heroes of Iraq” in Diyala province, Iraqi security forces destroyed 59 ISIS hideouts, detained 7 terrorists and killed 3 others, treated more than 80 IEDs, seized 7 suicide belts and destroyed several large arms caches.
