A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- The Trukish Ministry of Defense annouunced that recently 3 PKK members were killed in the Haftanin area by Turkish airstrikes;
- The Iraqi Prime Minister visited the Zarbatiyah border crossing with Iran and announced that a special force is preparing to take control of the area;
- Anti-governor demonstrations took place in the city of Nasiriyah. Protesters demand the dismissal of the governor;
- Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif visited Baghdad for talks on various topics of mutual interest with senior Iraqi officials
- ISIS attacked an army position in the Azim area of Diyala, wounding a soldier.
I still dont see any political solitions by Bagdad. They just fight people, which dont like them.
