A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- According to PMU media, the PMF killed 4 ISIS members in the vicinity of the city of Samarra;
- An unknown group threw a grenade at the home of Hamza Al-Bashkani, the commander of a PMU called the Shingal (Sinjar) Falcons Force, in the city of Shingal;
- Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi’s visit to Saudi Arabia was postponed after the Saudi King was hospitalized in Riyadh;
- Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Marsrour Barzani;
- Turkish Defense Minister stated that 4 PKK militants were killed in an air strike in northern Iraq;
- 45 ISIS bombs and IEDs were dismantled and removed by PMU 30th Brigade from farmlands near Mosul;
- An explosion occurred in the city of Kirkuk;
- According to Al Sumaria, in the ” green zone ” in the center of Baghdad, two “Katysha” missiles fell near the US embassy. No casualties were reported.
We see the worries from USA is true. They wanted some FSAs and SDFs to be some kind of local Goverment for all those thin populated areas.
We see the vakuum well. Assads cant cover it byt try some. Iraqis as shiits dont care enough because they have the oil. SDFs cant cover their area well because all soldiers are i the fronline. Ad Turks do as they wish in Iraq as well as in Syria.
