A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- Several rockets struck Camp Taji, north of Baghdad, damaging an Iraqi army helicopter. The rockets were reportedly launched from the Saba’ al-Bour area;
- 2 explosions took place at Camp Speicher near the city of Tikrit. According to Iraqi security officials, the explosions were caused by fire;
- During the 4th phase of Operation Iraqi Heroes, a cache of ammunition and weapons was discovered in Abi Saida, Diyala province.
