- Anti-terror special units of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense eliminated Abu Anas al-Obaidi, an ISIS military leader in Tarmiya district;
- According to UN expert on extra-judicial executions Agnès Callamard, the US assassination of Iran general Qasem Soleimani in Iraq was illegal;
- ISIS media claimed that they succeeded in killing their first target, Hisham al-Hashimi, and their next one will be journalist Majed Hameed from Saudi-Channel Al-Arabiya.
