A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- After an airstrike killed civilians, several hundred people marched in Sulaimani city against Turkish military operations in northern Iraq;
- The Kurdistan Region Government condemned Turkish actions in northern Iraq and also called on the PKK to withdraw from the area;
- Turkish warplanes and artillery struck about 20 targets in the Zakho district in Duhok Governorate;
- At least 8 people were killed as a result of a Turkish operation in northern Iraq in recent days. A Turkish soldier was killed in the clashes;
- Warplanes and artillery units of the Turkish Armed Forces struck PKK positions in the Haftanin area;
- Two Turkish warplanes conducted airstrikes on Mount Spi, west of Duhok city.
