A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- ISIS claimed responsibility for an IED attack on an Iraqi Humvee near the city of Hit in al-Anbar province;
- Turkish warplanes conducted airstrikes on Zakho district;
- According to Turkish media, 5 PKK members were killed as a result of Turkish airstrikes in northern Iraq;
- The 1st PMU Brigade destroyed an ISIS VBIED in the town of Azim in Diyala province;
- The Iraqi Armed Forces struck ISIS strongholds in Qara Chokh mountains.
