A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- On October 5, two rockets fell near Baghdad Airport. No casualties were reported
- Iraqi PM Mustafa al-Kadhimi forms a High Committee to investigate security breaches at the US Embassy and bases that housed Coalition forces;
- PMU forces carried out a security operation against ISIS cells southwest of Kirkuk;
- PMU forces carried out a security operation against ISIS cells north of Samarra;
- A spokesman for the US-led coalition fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria confirmed that the US military had completed its drawdown from about 5,200 to fewer than 3,000 troops in Iraq.
If you want to root out ISIS once and for all, Iraq, then attack the main Wahhabi financing nests in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Houthis will help you for free. Probably Iran, too. Oh, and don’t forget Syria and Lebanon. That should do it.
