A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:

• Turkish Parliament extends approval of use of military forces in Iraq and Syria until October 2021;
• ISIS elements targeted the village of Zagniyah north of Baquba with 3 mortar shells;
• An ISIS senior official was arrested by Iraqi security forces in Kirkuk;
• 7 Iraqi policemen were killed in ISIS attacks on a police station in Hawija area;
• Turkish warplanes targeted alleged PKK positions in the Matin mountain.
