A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- The Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) repelled ISIS attacks in the south of Samarra for the second night in a row;
- Four rockets were fired at the US embassy in Baghdad;
- Convoy of an Iraqi contractor company transporting US-led coalition military equipment was targeted with two IEDs, one in Babil and one in Diwaniyah;
- One civilian was killed and 3 others were wounded in an attack on a fuel plant in Kirkuk.
