Recent military developments in Iraq:
- The “Saraya al-Muntaqim” group allegedly targeted a CIA vehicle with two roadside bombs near Camp Victory, killing 3 US soldiers;
- The “Saraya al-Muntaqim” took responsibility for a roadside bomb explosion near the British convoy on the Baghdad highway near the Green Zone. British embassy in Iraq denied any casualties;
- An IED attack targeted a US-contracted logistics convoy near the city of Tikrit;
- A security operation was carried out by Hashad Sha’abi and Iraqi army forces in the south of Mosul;
- The US delivered $250 million-worth military equipment to the Peshmerga forces in Kurdistan region.
