A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- The 56th PMU Brigade repelled ISIS attack in the village of Kawaz Arab near Kirkuk;
- The PMU and the Iraqi Army killed 5 ISIS members in the Qanus island south of Mosul;
- IED attack targeted US contractors convoy in Saladdin province, wounding one Iraqi soldier;
- A series of protests were held in the city of Naseriyah demanding the release of civil activist Sajad al Iraqi.
