A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi, the Secretary General of Harakat al-Nujaba, called to continue countering US interests in Iraq until the complete expulsion of US forces from the country;
- ISIS elements assassinated Emad Fadhel Nayef the brother-in-law of the former Kirkuk Intelligence Director in Bajwan village northwest of Kirkuk city;
- The PMU and the Iraqi Army carried out a security operation against ISIS in the Hamrin mountain;
- The PMU and the Iraqi Army carried out a security operation against ISIS near the Kabisah area west of Hit.
