- On September 6, several trucks belonging to the US-led coalition entered Syria from the Iraqi Kurdistan Region via the illegal al-Walid crossing;
- On September 7, PAK and Peshmerga members backed by Barzani are planning to protest near the Kirkuk castle. Iraqi security forces were deployed to the area.
