A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- 2 ISIS leaders were killed during a security operation south of Kirkuk;
- Iraqi security forces confiscated 30 weapons during raids in Maysan Governorate;
- ISIS claimed responsibility for an IED attack on policemen in Fallujah province, allegedly killing 4 and wounding 3 others;
- An IED attack targeted a US coalition military convoy on Taji road, north of Baghdad;
- Rocket attacks on the Taji base were reported;
- Iraqi warplanes targeted ISIS hideouts in the Makhmour area;
- Turkish warplanes targeted alleged PKK positions near the city of Dohuk.
