A brief overview of the recent developments in Libya:
- An interim government in eastern Libya (allied with the LNA) resigned hours after protesters set fire to its headquarters in Benghazi;
- The Libyan National Army (LNA) deployed additional security forces to ensure order in the city of Al-Marj in the Al-Marj Security Directorate, where one civilian was reportedly killed during the protests;
- The LNA declared its support for the protests and promised to protect them, calling to hold demonstrations in public squares during the day and not allow saboteurs;
- In coming days, the Turkish company ENKA will start building two power stations in Libya.
