- The Malian Armed Forces reportedly neutralized more than 43 terrorists on January 25 as part of the “Kèlètigui” operation carried out in the regions of Nara, Sikasso, Bougouni, Koutiala, Ségou and Mopti, according to the Malian Army;
- Mali has defaulted on bonds worth 2.7 billion CFA francs beacuse of sanctions imposed by West Africa’s regional bloc and Central Bank, according to the Malian Finance Ministry.
