On February 23, Turkey-led forces took a full control of the important northern town of al-Bab in the Syrian province of Aleppo. Meanwhile, the Syrian army liberated the villages of Rasm al-Sheikh and Rasm al-Hermel al-Khabaz located north of the ISIS stronghold of Deir Hafer in the same province.
Tigers are making very good progress here. Maybe this caused ISUS to pull some of force from up north. I am not clear here on why Daesh would pull out of Al Bab and still hold Qabasin? This does not seem correct to me.
Maybe we get report soon that TAC air clobbered the rats as they fled.
If they however pulled out and made it scott free….then that is another X mark against Russia/Syria Intel and logistics.
Syria could have parked 3 or 4 Hind attack Helicopters in anticipation of the upcoming Withdrawal of ISUS from AL Bab,…. Had logistics and fuel to ammo/fuel up and go out again again to slaughter the rats.
Didn’t SAA have control of the southern road out of AL Bab, If so….where did all the ISUS melt away to with their Toyotas and TOW ATGMs?
