On October 9, ISIS broke through Syrian Army positions in eastern Hama and entered an area controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in the northern Hama countryside. The one terrorist group attacked another and seized a number of villages in the area.
The fighitng is ongoing.
This is a Master Troll Job. I wonder who could’ve pulled this one off? hmm……
Wasn’t me ! It was some one else trolling them.
Diversion tactic…
… total waste of time.
Broke through or “broke through”? Wouldn’t it be nice if the Syrians are having their turn to use the US head-chopping, heart-eating rapers. ;o)
the isis break through the under ground tunnel…SAA territory just above them overlap
That is very reasonable
Isis likes to make surprise appearances. Now HTS is the lucky one. :D
somehow you became unsure
Did they ‘break through’ the SAA defenses or were ‘let through’ the SAA defenses?.
They were fleeing through 10 days ago when Hts had the offensive and decided to take their families and ISIS and HTS have different Ideas. They wanted a buffer against the SAA as they know that ISIS are better trained fighters than HTS are.
Let through. No question. Daesh was given a simple choice, die here or go to Idlib to raise hell.
First SAA announces they closed this pocket, then this.
A applaud the SAA for successfully executing a misinformation campaign.
While SAA were negotiating safe passage and evacuation with Isis, the HTS believed the SAA news the pocket was wiped out. HTS was hit completely by surprise by the Isis attack.
” The one terrorist group attacked another and seized a number of villages in the area.” It is a normal rodent behavior. Rats once cornered and confined, they often eat each other. I hope they continue to act the same until they finish each other completely.
This news sounds to good to be true… Why would ISIS attack HTS, instead of joining them? I doubt they were able to bring their heavy weapons with them… They are imo to small a unit to survive, hemmed in between HTS and SAA. Isn’t this just fake news?
No, a big convoy escaped from the Hama pocket towards Idlib.
Yes, but it doesn’t explain why ISIS attacked HTS, instead of joining their ranks.
They broke from each other long ago so the rift is still there somewhat.
Just a few kilometers away there is Idlib. Other ISIS land is waaaayyy further.
