how much time you think before syrian army hits the turks?

Barba_Papa

Probably not, as Erdogan’s biggest priority are the Kurds and Assad’s biggest priority is fighting Jihadists (at least it should be). If both were to start fighting it would indicate bad decision making on both sides, as in Erdogan’s case the Kurds would be the laughing third player and in the case of Assad his army is barely able to defeat Jihadist forces, let alone take on the Turkish army as well.

John Whitehot

the Turkish army in Syria looks barely able to deal with ISIS in the Al-Bab area, and its proxies have been depicted as inept to say the least. Considering that the SAA is defending its own country, its the last enemy the Turkish army would like to face. Not to mention that the TuAF is grounded for some reason (I’d say the Russian air defence systems covering Syria) so they would have to face both Russian and Syrian air force.

dutchnational

TuAF is partly grounded because they fired and or arrested more than half of their fighter pilots.

John Whitehot

they stopped flying inside Syria since the Su-24 incident, not since the “coup”

turkish forces are easier than isis…considering the damage isis inflicted to them…we already had several clashed of assads army with turkmens suported by turkey…and dont forget russia is backin assad

Solomon Krupacek

you are wrong. the 2nd turkish army is able take whole syria. turkey sent some soldiers, does not attack strogly. also in cyprus crise were much more active.

dutchnational

Cyprus is small island, around th size of northern Aleppo region. The cyprian greeks had a small national guard, were lightly equipped, did not have an airforce, were not exprienced or well trained.

SAA and NDF some 200.000+, rebels some 100.000, SDF some 125.000, iranin militia, hezbollah some 50.000, russian airforce. Turkey will not take Syria.

Solomon Krupacek

This conflict was between Turkey and Greece. The greek army was defeated.

And do not count russia. If yes, then wgole terky (several armies) + USA. And again syria lose.

mhtsaropinigitakis

lol cyprus was 1974…and they didnt have any real enemy to fight…only villagers…and they suffered lots of looses…imagine turks invading syria…their whole army will be whiped out in less than a week

Solomon Krupacek

in cyprus conflict the greek army was defeated.

their whole army will be whiped out in less than a week

by whom? i tell you, the 2nd turkish army would defat the whole syrian army. the SAA are morons. if ou count also iran, russia, etc., then NATO versus these countries. i told only 1 turkish armi (they have more) against ALL syrian armies.

mhtsaropinigitakis

are you in drugs? there was no greek army in cyprus go learn history…turkey has no chance against any army…can only fight villagers

Solomon Krupacek

blablablablablabla

mhtsaropinigitakis

ofc you dont have anything realistic to add…only imagination
