When the bad weather goes,SAA could attack Deir Haffer.SAA didnt do it because ISIS could have flooded the area but now they cant anymore

Could you tell me why the Eastern border of Hama-Homs have not been cleared for so long? It is the key in holding Palmyra and also allows for better manoeuvrability, as highway 45 to Hama and backroads to Ithriya can be open, it surely can’t come down to manpower issues.

Balázs Jávorszky

Goooood question. The same question applies to the almost uninhabited part south of Tiras. I can’t understand why that hasn’t been cleared. Palmyra in itself is worthless.

Red Tick Alert

Personally and realise this sounds harsh, but I think Palmyra is more of a marketing ploy due to it’s internationally recognised “heritage” sites – in this day and age, as always I assume, mind games are as important as the actual war games.

I have asked few pro goverment people and they say lack of manpower.

Thanks, maybe something for the Iranian militia, since the population there would be little I assume.

They entered it but were pushed to retreat. More here: https://southfront.org/intense-fighting-ongoing-in-jirah-airbase-in-aleppo-province-multiple-airstrikes-reported/

Thegr8rambino
