A brief overview of the recent developments in northwestern Syria:
- Turkey is deploying T-300 Kasırga heavy multiple rocket launchers in the province of Hatay, near the border with Syria;
- Syrian state TV claimed that 250 Turkish-backed militants were killed in the recent failed attack on Nayrab;
- Turkey is supplying Idlib groups with M114 heavy howitzers;
- The Turkish observation post near the town of Qaminas was detected as a launch site of the MANPAD used against a Russian Su-24 warplane;
- Syrian media released a video showing aristrikes on Turkish forces in eastern Idlib.
Was the recent Erdogan Putin talk reached anything?

It shouldn’t take so long for the Syrian military to fortiffort its gain and return on the offensive.
The soldiers are only taking a rest and are currently planning the next offensive, which is aimed at liberating Jabal al-Zawiya and the M4 highway (with Ariha and Jisr ash-Shughur being the biggest cities located on the highway).

President Putin has always been careful with his gradual introduction to Syria of advanced Russian weapon systems .
Up to now they have been in response to increased NATO and Israeli interference in Syria.
BUT, we are now witnessing a situation where advanced 1st Strike NATO equipment is being openly flaunted in the Syrian conflict.
I feel we are seeing a Rush to War by NATO in order to conceal their direct support of Wahabi terrorism from the eyes and ears of their citizens.
Pushing Russia into a corner will only serve to see NATO totally destroyed.
It looks as if the Turks are trying to reinforce their invasion of Syria, using one road, through mountains, in winter, without air-cover, that leads to a killing ground. If Sultan Doggy insists on them continuing to be stupid, not many may get back home alive, unless Putin is in a very forgiving mood.
