A brief overview of the recent developments in northwestern Syria:
- The US intensified diplomatic and propaganda efforts to undermine the Turkish-Russian buffer zone deal;
- Idlib militants continued blocking the M4 highway;
- An IED explosion killed a person in Ain Al-Bareda;
- The Turkistan Islamic Party is reportedly mobilizing its forces ahead of the expected Syrian Army advance on Jisr al-Shughur;
- 3 Turkish soldiers reportedly got coronavirus infection in Idlib.
What exactly is US doing to undermine the Turkish russian deal and how to stop it?
1. The usual propaganda campaign of butcher Assad and Evil Russians chlorine barrel-bombing last orphaned kitten hospital in Idlib, ripping infants out of incubators and tossing them onto the cold, concrete floor, etc.
2. Ceasefire will break down like it always does thanks to the head-choppers. The U.S. has already preemptively blamed Russia for the failure and has prepared more meaningless sanctions as ‘punishment’. Not sure what they are – nobody really pays attention to Pompeo anymore. I guess my leaders meant to influence Russian and Syrian actions in Idlib. But since they don’t watch CNN, neither Russia nor Syria even know about the potential sanctions and don’t care anyway. Pompeo did send a text message to Putin about the sanctions, but Putin has him blocked. “Damn you, Putin!”
Putin: “Blocked? No way, lard-ass! Maybe you dial wrong country code for Russia?” [chuckle]
