i thought when israel started air bombing that gaza would be overrun in an instant. but how little israel has gained control of the region during this time is really confusing. today, the firepower of a single individual is great enough to stop a battle tank. israel itself destroyed the infrastructure, so it cannot advance amid the rubble and is vulnerable to guerilla attacks. this alone is a victory for hamas.
