A brief overview of the recent developments in the region:
- Israel successfully launched the Ofek 16 spy satellite into the space from Palmachim base;
- Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, announced his was ready for negotiations with Israel on the basis of United Nations resolutions and under the auspices of the international Quartet;
- In response to 3 rockets launched from the Gaza Strip, Israeli fighter jets twice targeted a Palestinian watchtower in the Zaytoun area east of the Gaza Strip.
It’s like a ping pong, they shoot into empty areas and we shoot back at dunes and empty buildings. If it wasn’t so funny it would have been sad, can’t even remember the last time a Hamas militant died in an airstrike. It’s just one big circus that both leaderships play, nothing to see here.
It’s a strange era.I don’t think there will be actual wars.Countries will fight each other through proxies.
I have bad news for Arabs. They lost every war and will lose every war going forward. There is no military situation. Israel can kill every Arab in Israel and WB/Gaza if it wanted to in one day but they don’t. On the other-hand, how many Jews are left in Arab countries?
