A brief overview of the recent developments in the region:
- 9 Palestinians were wounded when Israeli forces dispersed a demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village near Qalqilia;
- Hamas and the PFLP called in a joint statement “for an escalation with all-out resistance to confront the Israeli annexation plan”;
- Israeli jets flew over the Gaza Strip, some of them created sonic booms by breaking the sound barrier;
- Alert sirens were heard in the cities of Sderot, Ibim and Haner near the Gaza strip.
