This map provides a general look at the military situation in the Syrian city of Raqqah on July 31, 2017. The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have seized a major part of Shahada distrcit and a part of Husham Abdulmalik district from ISIS. The SDF seeks to take control over these areas in order to outflank ISIS units operating on the Old Raqqah area north of Husham Abdulmalik.

Dutch national, why are the SDF so slow? They haven’t had the burden of pausing due to humanitarian ceasefires, no Intel leaked to Isis, don’t have enemies to engage close to the city, have the world’s best airforce, generals and spec ops helping them. Why are the SDF so shit compared to the SAA who obviously had so many more obstacles to overcome in Aleppo, not to mention that it’s about 3 times bigger than Raqqa. Dutch national, why are the SDF / YPG so fucking shit in comparison?

Because Daesch is there and cant escape, so why should they be in a hurry? Because you are NOT there, teaching them how to fight at the maximum bravest level they can? How many fronts do the SDF have? Imagine if the SDF were attacked at 7 different fronts while they were attacking RAQQA! So please, spare me your bullshit!

The importance of Raqqa to Iran – Iraq and Syria should not be underestimated because it is part of the: Iran – Iraq – Syria Land Bridge Iran – Iraq – Syria – Cyprus – EU Oil and Gas Pipeline Route of the proposed New Silk Road through Syria
